Francis, a father of two, thought he had found a safe haven in his ancestral home when a zombie apocalypse forced him to flee the city. His wife, Alice, and two children, Joshua and Lucas, were his everything, and he would do whatever it took to protect them. But as the days turned into weeks, Francis’ grip on reality began to slip.
The Unraveling of Fractured Family Ties
Alice, once the glue that held the family together, started to unravel as Francis’ behavior became increasingly erratic. His phobia of venturing outside and his increasing paranoia about the world outside their small bubble created a toxic environment for the family. Lucas, the elder son, started to rebel against his father’s tyranny, seeking solace in his relationship with his mother. Joshua, on the other hand, clung to his father, desperate for reassurance.

Francis’ past trauma resurfaced, and his inner demons began to consume him. He became increasingly possessive and controlling, using violence to keep his family in line. His children grew increasingly afraid of him, and Alice started to despair, feeling trapped in a prison of her own making. Alice and Lucas, desperate to escape the hellhole he had created, managed to outsmart him and escape. But not before Francis had claimed his final victim, revealing a darkness so profound it could not be escaped.

As the survivors of the apocalypse, Alice and Lucas, left the ruins of their former life behind, they were met with uncertainty. Would they find a way to heal and start anew, or would the trauma of their experiences forever define them? The end of the world, or the end of their family?
