A Story of Shadows and Illumination

"Ore wa Seikan Kokka no Akutoku Ryōshu!" is the brainchild of Mishima, a renowned light novel author who has been serializing the story on the popular web platform, Shōsetsuka ni Narō, since 2018. The series has since been praised for its gripping narrative, complex characters, and thought-provoking themes.

The series is set to debut in Japan next year, with the anime adaptation being produced by ABC TV, TV Asahi, and 22 other channels, as part of the "Animazing" programming block. Seven Seas, a leading publisher of light novel translations, has also acquired the rights to the series and plans to release it in English.

The team behind the anime adaptation is comprised of talented artists and writers, including Nadare Takamine, who will be responsible for the character design, and Ishiguchi Jū, who will be adapting the series into a comic format.

Meanwhile, Seven Seas has also announced plans to release a spin-off series, "Mishima’s Heroic Chronicles," which will explore the backstory of Liam and his journey as a hero in the galaxy. The spin-off series is set to debut in December 2022, with the first volume scheduled to release in July 2023.
