The Invitation to the Dragon God Festival

After the long and exhausting journey through the Dragon Temple Dungeon, and before the story begins, we find ourselves receiving an invitation to the Metaphor: ReFantazio event on September 6th. At first glance, this event may seem like a mere chance to relax with party members after a difficult adventure, but there are some rewards to be gained when praying with believers. However, the rewards vary depending on who invites them.

The Dragon God Festival

Once we obtain the Dragon Lance (Draco Dios) and Federico is fully healed, we will be preparing to head to Altavare. However, the people of Old Vigra Island, including Eht Ria, have invited us to the Dragon God Festival on September 6th. Since this is connected to the story, there is no skipping this event, and I highly recommend participating. During the event, there will be cutscenes with all characters, and the true reward for participating is the legendary weapon, which can be obtained by the one who invites them.

The Selection of a Party Member

As the festival approaches its end, we will be selecting one member from our party. The reward for all characters is as follows:

• Schtrohl: Reverse Knight’s Great Espada (Legendary/Soldier) – MP recovery every turn
• Hyrulemberju: Woodland Lance (Legendary/Knight) – MP recovery every turn
• Hazeley: Silence (Legendary/Thief) – MP recovery every turn
• Juna: Stylish Fan (Legendary/Strand) – MP recovery every turn
• Yufa: Dancing Cloak (Legendary/Shaman) – MP recovery every turn
• Garlic: Whalebone Rod (Legendary/Magician) – MP recovery every turn
• Newla: Proto Bow Beta (Legendary/ Gunner) – MP recovery every turn

What is the Strongest Weapon?

In reality, all of these weapons are outstanding. However, when choosing who to invite to the September 6th "Metaphor: ReFantazio" Dragon God Festival, there are two methods to consider. First, take a look at your followers’ weapons, and then choose the one with the weakest. Next, examine the strength of each weapon. While all of them have MP recovery effects, they are small. For those who frequently use magic, weapons with high MP recovery are more beneficial, such as Juna, Yufa, and Hyrulemberju. In my case, I initially chose Hyrulemberju, but then switched to Juna after realizing that she already had a better weapon, and I needed a recovery effect.

The Final Choice is Up to You

Ultimately, the choice is up to you, and even if the weapon is legendary, we may replace it upon arriving in Altavare. However, the MP recovery effect is still beneficial, especially for those with low MP or those who frequently use magic. Alternatively, you can enjoy a peaceful scene with your favorite character before the next event, "When Chaos Descends".
