CryptoNinja’s Shinobanai! Anime Announces Production of 3rd Season

The official X (formerly Twitter) account of CryptoNinja’s non-fungible token (NFT) project, "Shinobanai! CryptoNinja Sakuya", announced on Tuesday that production of the 3rd season has been approved. The anime series, which debuted its first season in October 2023 and its second season on January 9, is set to continue its exciting storyline.

The third season will be directed by Nōchi Akifumi, who also directed the first season, and written by Hosawa Toru, who also wrote the first season. This project is unique in that it is the world’s first TV anime series featuring NFT characters.

The first season of the anime told the story of a sacred scroll stolen from the ninja village of Kōga, leading to a battle royale between the ninjas. Sakuya, Nem, and Shaoran, who were ordinary ninjas, were forced to work together to stop the chaos.

NFTプロジェクトの成長

The CryptoNinja NFT project, created by Ikehaya in 2021, has grown to a community of over 50,000 fans and creators, with a total revenue of 15,000 ETH (approximately ¥500 million or $4.3 million USD) as of February 2022.

アニメ計画の発表

In February 2022, the animation studio Fanworks, online pop culture commerce company Tokyo Otaku Mode, startup incubator platform Tsukurea, and digital content company The Battle announced their plan to produce the anime. Since then, the project has released its first promotional video and has begun casting auditions for voice actors and musicians.
