he trick to get Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Espeon and Umbreon is very simple in reality, and requires only to change the name of the Eeeee chosen for evolution.
First of all, to make Eevee evolve you will need 25 candies. You can collect them simply by capturing other specimens in the wild or by obtaining them from 5Km Eggs . Once you have satisfied this requirement, wait before you evolve your little monster!
In fact, by assigning one of the names below, you can influence the evolution of your Eevee and get its evolutionary shape that you prefer:
- Call your Eevee ” Rainer ” if you want it to become a Vaporeon
- Call your Eevee ” Sparky ” if you want it to become a Jolteon
- Call your Eevee ” Pyro ” if you want it to become a Flareon
- Call your Eevee ” Sakura ” if you want it to become an Espeon
- Call your Eevee ” Tamao ” if you want him to become an Umbreon
After you have done so, we advise you to exit Pokémon Go and restart it, just to make sure the server has received the name change.
Now you can evolve the Eevee with the changed name and you will see it turn into the corresponding Pokémon. But where do these names come from? They are the names of the Eevee appeared in the animated series!
There is a detail not to be overlooked on this small but very useful trick: it only works once for an evolutionary line . For example, after renaming your Eevee “Tamao” to get an Umbreon, you will not be able to get another one like this. So we advise you to take advantage of this method only with Eevee from the excellent statistics.
The missing evolutions: Leafeon, Galecon and Sylveon
There are three other Pokémon in which Eevee can evolve: Glaceon (Ice), Leafeon (Grass) and Sylveon (Kobold). However in Pokémon GO there are currently only the first three generations of Pokémon, for this reason the three above are absent.
