Faron Temple: Conquering the Depths

In the quest to explore the mysteries of The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, the path to unlocking its secrets doesn’t stop with the revival of Hyrule Castle. The adventure unfolds further with the conquest of three hidden temples, and Faron Temple is one of them. Here, we will delve into the intricacies of this labyrinthine complex, revealing the hidden gems and untold secrets.

Navigating the Maze

Begin by passing the initial checkpoint and finding yourself in the Still World. Avoid the gate to proceed right and uncover a ladder hidden within the overgrown grass. Claim the treasure chest containing 50 Rupees, and climb the ladder to enter the 2D room.

Crystal Connection

Explore the 2D room and notice three green crystals waiting to be activated. Employ the Spark or Buzz Blob Echoes to electrify the crystals, lighting the way forward. A treasure chest will materialize, carrying the Dungeon Map, followed by the pressing of the nearby button. Proceed left, and gate the entrance, granting passage to the main room.

Armos and Laser Beams

In the upper west doorway, tread carefully, dodging the blue laser enemies. Then, back into the Still World, make your way to the south doorway to discover a binding statue and a door hidden behind.

Statue Secrets

Unlock the second statue by moving the eastern platform westward. Summon the Electric Keese Echo to electrify the crystals, birthing a treasure chest bearing a Small Key. Wander back to the main room, access the southwest doorway, and excavate the grass to uncover another entry point.

Miniboss Maneuvers

After navigating the northwest ladder, two Boulder Echoes will be necessary to prop up the eastern platform and unlock the western platform switch. Capture a second Small Key from the treasure chest, then re-enter the entrance, confronting the two-headed Manhandla miniboss. Wield your Echoes at a distance, transitioning to Swordfighter Form to attack the stunned heads, exploiting the vulnerable pink weakpoints.

Egg-stra Special

Once defeated, return to the dark room checkpoint, proceed through the southeast doorway, and claim a treasure chest filled with the Golden Egg. Continue southwest, triggering two buttons beneath your feet, prompting two Armos statues to walk towards them.

A Water Worry

Breach the south door and step onto the water floor. From there, release the Ignizol Echo, which will dissolve cobwebs to unveil a new room. Stepping onto two pressure plates simultaneously summons two Armos Echoes to ensure access to this new realm. Defeat the Electric Wizzrobe, marking a crucial stage in the journey.

Golden Rupees

Visit the dark room, igniting the torches, then navigate down the lower west ladder into the water. After obtaining the 50 Rupees treasure chest, free the Armos, proceed north, and ascend the central ladder to illuminate the 2D room. Activating three green crystals via Spark or Buzz Blob Echoes releases the hidden paths.

Weighty Concerns

Within this illuminated room, notice the weight-sensitive platforms and carefully arrange the Armos Echoes to maintain equilibrium, thereby unlocking doors to two distinct areas.

Four Heads, Four Warnings

As we progress through this winding narrative, it is essential to acknowledge the looming presence of the four-headed Manhandla, another formidable boss waiting in the shadows.

Prepare yourself for an intense confrontation with the intimidating Gohma, and, with her defeat, the doors to the rest of The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom’s temples – Eldin and Lanayru – swing open.
