Dragon Ball Daima: The Latest Update on the Highly Anticipated Anime Series

Mini Character Cast Revealed!

In a recent development, the official Dragon Ball Daima anime website has unveiled the Japanese voice cast for the "Mini" versions of its beloved characters. A total of 12 Japanese voice actors have been selected to bring these iconic characters to life. The new cast includes (from left to right in the top row): [list the cast members]. The Dragon Ball Daima anime premiered on October 11 on a new anime programming block on Fuji TV in Japan, airing every Friday at 11:40 p.m. (10:40 a.m. EDT). Crunchyroll began streaming the series on the same day, with Netflix following suit, debuting first in Asia on October 14 and globally on October 18.

Crew and Production Team

Industry veterans Yoshitaka Yashima (animation director on Dragon Ball Super and Digimon franchise) and Aya Komaki (series director on One Piece and episode director on Marie & Gali) are teaming up as series directors. Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru (Dragon Ball Z and Digimon franchise) is adapting the late Akira Toriyama’s character designs for animation, with Yuuko Kakihara (Digimon Adventure tri. films, 2022 Urusei Yatsura, and Cells at Work!) supervising and writing the series scripts. Toriyama is credited with the new anime’s story and character designs, with Akio Iyoku, founder of Capsule Corporation Tokyo, serving as an executive producer.

Music and Soundtrack

Music plays a crucial role in the success of any anime series, and Dragon Ball Daima is no exception. The opening theme song "Jaka Jaan" is performed by Zedd feat. C&K (CLIEVY and KEEN), while the ending theme song "Nakama" (Companions) is performed by ZEDD feat. Ai, with Ai writing the lyrics specifically for the anime.
